I’ve written for as long as I can remember, mainly community development reports, articles and guides, but started ‘creative’ writing in earnest when I moved to Ireland in 2006 when I found I had more time on my hands.
I’m a member of a writers’ group meeting weekly in Mountcharles in stunning south west Donegal. We’ve been meeting for several years and share our work each time. They’re a great bunch of people – supportive and critical in appropriate measure – and we all love to write.
The discipline of producing material on a weekly basis firstly led to a number of short stories, then a radio play (following a series of workshops and a competition opportunity) and then a novel, A Shadowed Livery, to be published in April 2015. I’ve shared some of this output on this section of my blog – feel free to comment.
