Between 2002 and 2006 I worked for an organisation called People for Action. PfA provided a networking service to housing associations, assisting them to share information on ‘community investment’ i.e. the work they did beyond being a housing provider. PfA closed down in 2006 and I recently discovered that the briefing papers on a whole range of topics had disappeared from the ‘net. Consequently I’ve now made them available from this site.
George Bernard Shaw famously said:
“If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.”
Shaw’s Apples is a compilation of briefing papers produced by People for Action in the early 2000s.
